Laythe is the closest moon of Jool, and is a notably Kerbin-like world. It has large oceans and some small islands.

Laythe has an atmosphere, and a parachute can be used to slow down a lander. It was possibly inspired by Titan, Saturn's moon, that has some simmilarities to Earth. Laythe also provides a great view of a "Joolrise".
