Kerbal Space Program, commonly abbreviated to KSP, is a a spaceflight simulation video game, developed by Squad, currently already has officially released the game out of beta for release on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. First released on June 24, 2011, the simulator is available for purchase on the online official KSP Store, and since March 20, 2013, through Steam's early access program, where it reached the top 5 best sold games.
Updates for the simulator have been continuously released. KSP has a large support for game mods and a large community to create them, which developed shortly after the game's start. KSP has also received recognition from the space industry, with several members taking an interest in the game.
Gameplay[]
Kerbal Space Program is a spaceflight simulator in which player controls a nascent space program operated by Kerbals, a race of small green humanoids, who have constructed a fully furnished and functional spaceport (known as the Kerbal Space Center, or KSC) on their homeworld Kerbin, similar to Earth.
The available game modes in the game are:
- Career - This type of mode handles all features in-game such as funds and reputation.
- Science - This type of mode handles some features excluding some features from Career such as Funds, but acts like Career mode.
- Sandbox - Features from Career/Science are removed and there are no limitations into what you do.

Kerbal Space Program received "generally favorable" reviews on Metacritic getting a metascore of 88/100 on PC,[1] 77/100 on PS4,[2] and 75/100 on Xbox One.[3] While whatoplay.com gives an aggregate score (playscore) of 8.95 on PC,[4] 7.66 on PS4,[5] and 7.40 on Xbox One.[6]
